Sales Coordinator

  • Develop a database of prospective clients.
  • Identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities.
  • Direct contact of prospective clients through personal visits and phone calls.
  • Provide customer quotations with a systematic follow-up system.

  • Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
  • Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly/monthly sales meetings.
  • Follow up with clients for outstanding support by the Finance Controller.
  • Follow up of quotations as needed and communicate the positive or negative feedback in respect of being able to source the competitive rate to support the closure of all business opportunities.
  • Use the quote feedback to quote more effectively for future opportunities and for pricing guidance
  • Conducting research and route planning, taking into consideration the kind of cargo being transported, the distance involved and any specific customer requirements with regards to the final delivery time.
  • Negotiate internally to provide the best rates for import and export.
  • Take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability and take lead/responsibility to support the business.
  • Ensuring integrity & accuracy in all pricing matters.
  • Establish & maintain a strong working relationship with customers
  • Coordination with the pricing and operations team.
  • Accuracy of all quotes, and timely issue to the customer.
  • New customers leading to new business.
  • Ensure enough commercial visits have been done to generate business.
  • CRM pipeline reporting.
  • Ensure quality of operations and customer satisfaction.
